Quantum computing, built by students at EUI.
QEUI is the quantum computing club at Egypt University of Informatics. We teach QWorld's QBronze course, send teams to hackathons, and bring Egypt's quantum community to campus.
Four ways in. One circuit.
No physics background needed. If you can write a little Python, you can run your first circuit with us this semester.
QBronze @EUI
QWorld's hands-on introduction to quantum programming: qubits, superposition, entanglement and Grover's search, in Python and Qiskit. Two intro sessions in December, then a five-day intensive in the mid-year break.
Hackathon teams
We form QEUI teams for quantum hackathons and practise together before each one. Entangled on purpose.
Quantum Café
Forty-five minutes on one real question, like whether quantum computers will break today's encryption. Come curious, leave with an opinion.
QWomen & QJunior
Women in Quantum panels, and school visits that introduce quantum ideas through games.
Qiskit Fall Fest 2025, German University in Cairo
In our first semester as a club, the founding team placed second at Qiskit Fall Fest. This year we're building teams to go further.
2026–27, gate by gate.
Spring dates will be confirmed when the academic calendar is published. Follow @quantum_eui for updates.
Recruitment opens
Applications run until 28 November.
QEUI 2.0 relaunch
1–2 pm, auditorium. Live demo on a real quantum computer, a quiz, pizza.
QBronze intro
Sessions on 7 and 14 December.
Quantum Café #1
Will quantum computers break your bank's encryption?
QBronze intensive
Five online days, 24–28 January, with QEgypt mentors.
World Quantum Day @ EUI
Talks, a student showcase and a Qiskit mini-hackathon.
Pick your committee.
Open to every EUI student, in every faculty. You don't need to know quantum yet. That's what we're here for.
